Valve Offering Free MW2 Multiplayer on PC this Weekend
If you’ve been holding out on purchasing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for the PC, maybe because of the lack of dedicated servers or mods, here is the perfect opportunity to try it out for free.
Valve announced today that gamers can check out the PC version of Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer component free of charge this weekend. The free game time begins Thursday April 8 at 4 pm PDT, and you can preload the Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer mode now through Valve’s online distribution service Steam.

Which means for the rest of us that have been playing since the game came out this is going to be a good weekend. Tons and Tons of people who dont know the maps wandering around waiting to get crushed. Easy XP

maybe this 1 will actually download better thn the actual retail version, i had trouble with loading the maps, took almost 5 mins to load 1 map :S im gunna try it out and make some quick montages

“Cheaters Weekend”
.. i have joined ~25-30 games today, and there has been at the very least 2 cheaters on each server(With hacked serversettings etc.).
