I think i can speak for a lot of people when i say the new Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer gameplay footage is impressive, but what about those 15 new custom killstreak rewards? Infinity Ward have asked the fans..
What other new Killstreak Rewards would you like to see in Modern Warfare 2?

hey u do relize artilly is still used right u need to get ur facts stiraght just cause it was used in World war 2 doesnt make it better than a airstrike they use new howtziers that can be able to switchits type of ammo from tungsten armor pericing or the standerd round used so it can be just as good as a carpet bomb

i think that for the lets say 26 kill steak, yeah it has to be odd. you get your health slashed a %age, killing pwr increased the 5 of health decrease, and only use a pistol, and throwing knives. that might make things a little interesting.

I think that after a 10 or 15 kill streak, you should go into a sort-of adrenalin rush think where you run, reload, and aim faster… and others seem to move slower… (also i think that after you get so many headshots, in addition to getting camo, you should get better and better at reloading the weapon… just ideas)

i think they should put theatre in like halo 3, so if you get a crazy grenade or triple kill or something after the game you could go into theatre watch it and if its that crazy possibly save it and share with friends/players.

I just really hope they put in the nuke for like 20 kill streak. Put one bunker on the map and a siren for 30 seconds before. Everybody rushes the bunker and it speeds things up a bit and prevents camping:D

people r stupid on here!!!! why would u need an anti air killstreak perk when u get 15 kills in a row? wouldn’t u b the guy wit the bird n the sky if u jus killed 15 mofos n a row? here r my ideas:
3 kills- UAV/Electronic Jamming UAV (which cloaks all friendly locations on map)
5 kills- Air Strike/Predator drone (that hovers for a while and strikes whoever runs into the open w/hellfires)/Mortar Strike (13-15 mortars fall on selected area on map
7 kills- Helicopter(Hind Gunship[spetznaz&Mid East factions}, Apache Attack[US and SAS factions]/Anti-Air killstreak Perk (jus n case someone acquires a chopper)/Dogs (more aggressive & intelligent tho)/Cluster Bombs (over a selected target area)
11 kills- AC 130 gunship/ Artillery (30 second barrage on selected target area)/Cruise Missile Strike (1 missile strike for 2 selected target areas)/Napalm Attack (over a significant target area)
15 kills- Bio Attack (over a significant target area;gas effects specific abilities such as sprinting, aiming, and jumping)/500 lb Bomb (with large blast radius)
Those are my ideas, i put 3 rewards for each kill streak (except obviously the 3 kill streak and the 15 kill streak because too many benefits for so few kills in a row and so many kills in a row would only make the odds of the match completely un balanced).

Ok I know this is suggestions. but get anying that isnt possible in the real world out of your head. or anything that breaks the balance of the game, anything like that will not be in the game. I know cod is a game and not relistic (its fun, releasim = real dead, rl war will never give you cake even if it has it).
3 kills UAV, perhaps customisable as guns have heartbeat moniters, mabey a heatbeat jammer as uav jammer is diffrent.
5 kills types of air strike I.E carpet.. pinpoint
7 heli or possible deletion
11 something isane that risks unbalancing the game unless 7 is deleted.
a system of credits alowing you to have 3 5 11 or 3 5 7 or possibly 11 7 as a diffrence of 2 between each is simple to get( air strike gets 2 kills leads to heli heli gets to kills leads to insane bomber getting any number of kills there 6 free kills + insane bomber.

I think after a 10 or 11 kill streak you should be able to paratroop to any place on the map, such as behind enemy lines.
Then after a 15 kill streak you can call in civilians with bombs strapped to their bodies and they explode when they touch the enemy.

I would like to see a laser guided precision strike, a single missile not a cluster/ carpet bomb like the 5 kill streak in cod4. or a remote controlled reaper with a few missiles.

19 Helicopter/Plane you get to control like in the one level in MW1 with the heavy gun and large artillery (you get this when you spawn and lose it when it gets blown up from 2 rpgs first is deflected from flare and 1/2 kills are added to your respawns kill streak)
25 1 AI on your team who’s (GOT YO BACK n***a!!!) (for 30 sec.)
30 ammo and some speacial CONGRATS+ achievment+ mad xp =D

i think that say… for a 7 or 11 killstreak, they should have an auto-detection goggle system (basically a uav that comes in your goggles), that shows a green square around any enemy that would be hiding in a bush or around a wall within say… 100 feet of the player (or anywhere in the sniper scope if he/she were sniping).

I think it will be 3 5 7 9 11 when you get a reward and you will have an option of 3 for each one like:
3-UAV,?or?
5-air strike,artillery or napalm
7-dogs,unmanned heli or chemical warfare of some type
11-manned heli,supply drop or UAV in till you die.
this is my idea please comment and suggest 2 rewards for 3 kills.

3-UAV / Supplies (replenish ammo for team) / C4 drone (you pilot, it blows up)
5-Airstrike / Bunker Buster (house sized indoor explosion) / Predator (you pilot, has 5 hell fire missles)
7-Helicopter / Tear Gas (an area of the map) / Infrared UAV (put waypoints above emenies)
9-Dogs / Comanche Heli (can’t be locked on to by rocket) / “Heat Ray” (makes people think they are close to death, but are really ok, in an area)
11-AC-130 Gunship / M1A1 Abrams (NPC piloted tank) / EMP (disables mini-map and any one useing remote controlled things for 30 sec)

How about sniper cover, sniper shoots enemies that are visible to the north of the map, thats where the sniper will be deployed, he’ll be outside the map ofcourse, and warns you if any hostiles are near you

A Customized Airstrike
Meaning:
In the options/perk menu, you have a varaity of airstrikes. For example:
1) Laser Percision Strike
You have a device which has a laser beam attached to it that you can aim within your sight where you want the bombing to occure.
2) Carpet Bombing
Like the normal airstrike in COD 4, however you can see the path of the bombing as icons.

I don’t know if you would add this as a kill streak reward, but I was thinking you could have a little decoy type machine that u set anywhere u want and at anytime u can activate it to where it shows up on enemy radars as a red dot for distraction. Or a special grenade that when thrown in any direction gives a 50ft radius on the thrower map of any enemy in the area… Now that would be nice.

how about when you get to killstreak 35 you get what i call a “adrenaline shot” where every body goes into slow motion and you being the only one at normal pace giving you the advantage over every body to perform and kill more efficiently.

3,5,7 the same @ 25 u should get some kik ass soldier that protects your bak ang gives you a 75% plus chance survival rate and also gets you kills. shiuld last 4 60 secs. snipers @ 20 sounds rad. nuke at 50 .

Interestingly enough it seems from the uncut multiplayer video the mw2 blog forum’s admin’s idea was used (ammo drop) because you saw that in the multiplayer game footage.
But what i’m excited about is that my idea was used as well! A guided missile from a predator was also seen as a kill streak in the “Flag Runner” video and I had suggested it to 402′s twitter. I’m really excited to try it out in the game, since it was something I was hoping for, regardless of whether it was my idea or not.

Ha, I doubt infinity ward is going to listen to any of your ideas, even though they are hilarious. e.g little army troopers that go around getting you kills, ha – why don’t you just do it yourself, your obviously good enough if your getting streaks.
I think the first two will be the same however the ac130 should come maybe at maybe 8 or 10 – so they are more spread out. And the next streak awards should not be kill efficient, the game scores may become unbalanced.

I love the idea of some cpu controlled soldiers coming in, getting you kills. It is basically the idea of dogs, but expanded into soldiers. It is definitely realistic to call in for backup, so there aren’t any problems with that with the authenticity of it. It would be a BEAST kill streak, so somewhere from 15 to 18 kills would be appropriate.

an alien ufo ship with multi laser guns controlled automatically itself and then can shoot through walls and kills the enemy instantly and stays till the scorelimit is reached and cant be taken down.

I really like that sniper team idea, they setup somewhere outside the map and pick off targets for you, i hope infinity ward reads that. Another good 8-9 kill streak award would be an attack little bird comes, the reason why i said 8-9 kill streak because it’s hard to lock on. like i said i support the sniper team idea.
