Octobers issue of PSM3 magazine (UK) features a 8-page exclusive on Modern Warfare 2.

Only a few days ago MW2Blog speculated that there may be a survival mission in Special Ops Mode, well it looks like we were right, the PSM3 article confirms that there will indeed be a survival mission in the new game mode.

Five Special Ops missions will be available when you first boot the game, and you’ll earn stars as you complete each one – with three on offer for completion of the hardest difficulty, two for the middle one and a measly one for the simpler experience.

Once the stars start pouring in further missions will be open to you. Missions include a mission in Rio, “elimination” tasks you with taking-out 40 militia men (terrorist hunt). A few snowmobile time trial scenario’s are included. There will also be a mission where you will fend off “wave after wave of enemies” (survival), albeit with claymore’s and sniper rifles.

Another whispered mission will have one player in the AC-130 gunship, while the other dashes around a more explosive battlefield below.
