Modern Warfare 2 Zombie Mode?
Can We Expect a Nazi Zombie Mode in Modern Warfare 2?
Treyarch has had a lot of success with Call of Duty: World at War and the downloadable content Map Pack One sold extremely well. A Lot of this success can be put down to the new co-op mode they introduced called Nazi Zombie mode.
This involves joining with up to three other players to kill endless waves of crazed “Nazi Zombies”. It puts a new spin on the game and makes for a nice change from the normal multiplayer modes. Most of all, lets face it .. we all love a bit of co-op
So what can we expect from Infinity Ward and Modern Warfare 2, will they include their own interpretation of the Zombie Mode in Modern Warfare 2?
There will be a lot of unhappy Call of Duty fans if there isn’t and it would be a bad move on Infinity Wards part after the many fans the new mode has since it was introduced to Call of Duty.
[UPDATE] Since writing this article it has come to light that there will be no Zombie Mode in Modern Warfare 2. There will be a 2 player co-op mode called Special Ops.

shawoopams, hey people!!!! if they get enought complaints then they might make an addon pack for a possible aliens/zombies lvl. so you guys can start to use ur heads.
hell look at fallout 3. oblivion. they later added content to the game that wasnt original. along with many other games.
start forums and stuff on the main web sites and stuff and get there attention.

@rocky, well after digging around for countless hours i found out their will be a add on pack for mwf2 and i dont think anyoe will be disapointed cuz insted of four maps your gonna get five and zombies aont be iin the pitcure. insteed where gonna have aliens/terrorests.it will in deed be kick ass ill post a link to my findings so all you non belevers can see for your selfs….

Infinity should not put no dam zombies on cod mw2 because it would destroy the whole concept of cod which treyarch already did. What the hell does zombies got to do with cod don’t get me wrong Nazi zombies are good but they don’t fit in with the whole cod franchise, infinity scrued up on cod 3 and on cod waw as well but I guess all that they care is about money not about making a badass game, I belive infinity won’t let us down cause they haven’t so far but who knows maybe they just care about money aswell

zombies would be off the hook, it adds a bit of a fun thing to do other then online because missions always end up getting boring. IW could put their own little spin on zombies, such as aliens because it seams more modern but zombies would always work, hopefully make one that is as good as Cod WaW zombies was. if no zombies on MW2 many people will go back to playing WaW. I think the only thing that stops the Nazi Zombie mode being the most fun thing ever is the weapons. A lot of them are either bolt action, or very slow to reload. Sometimes this takes the fun out of it because before you’ve managed to even get halfway through a map, you get killed cos your guns suck. I think zombies mixed with Modern Warfare would be the best thing to happen to the games industry, ever.

@Ryan, actually i start out with the Kar 98 and last till round 4 with it.. the longest ive lasted with no glitches was 33 on der reise by myself cause alot of people wont listen and are r****ds..

If they don’t put it in I won’t even bother buying. For the people in here saying that it doesn’t mix, stfu and remember that it’s only a bonus mode, mini game. Zombies won’t appear on the campaign or on vs multiplayer, so wtf?
Waw got me into the COD franchise because of zombies. I found COD4 relatively boring compared to WaW. It was because of lack of co-op.

There is not going to be a Zombie Mode in Modern Warfare 2. There will be a ‘Wave Defense’ mission(s) in Special Ops Mode though.

i think that honestly they should have added because of the fans gained in WAW but i started with COD1 and dont get me wrong i am a fan of nazi zombies i got every map pack but they may have thought that it took away from the content of the game. That wave defense however will not be able to meet the standards we have all set for nazi zombies and i believe the game will remain fun but i will miss the zombie slaughter action.

Modern Warfare 2 should have zombies mode cuz after tiresome multiplayer mode, gamers needs sum break to blow off steam by…….shooting zombies. I do that a lot. Once i get tired of nazi zombies, i simply change mode to multiplayer and so on.
p.s. Infinity Wards, how many maps packs have you released for COD4?One. Listen to your f**king fans and add modern taliban zombies or nazi zombies or something similar!!! A representitive from infinity ward said that it is possible that they will release a zombie mode with the first DLC, the first DLC being 360 exclusive, infinity ward really seems to be microsofts b***h lately, all the gameplay they released is on 360, but it would look allot better on PC and game developers usually release gameplay of the PC version of the game rather than 360, so if there is a zombie mode, it will not be for PC or ps3

WAW was my first FPS, i had to go for platnum, which was damned hard, for me… anyway! i soon started hammering multiplayer, which was fun and was getting invites for zombies which didn’t appeal at the time being new n’ all. after a time i gave zombies a proper go, i was soon hooked, what a simple addictive game, i’d never had so much fun, i was torn between multiplayer n’ zombies, the game is perfectly balanced, which for a game kept it in check, who could get bored with this awesome mix!! I got all the map packs specifically for zombies, what a game, if only there was more packs… anyway! MW2, I was there at the midnight release, the game was simply brilliant, but i soon got bored with the spec-ops which was just AI multiplayer, what happened to zombies, what were they thinking. they could have had El Quida with a never ending slaughter of telleban, but no! they gave us spec-ops. I miss my pulse racing when i’m trapped by the dead… come on gamers lets hear it for ZOMBIES… ZOMBIES… ZOMBIES… ZOMBIES..

Ok first of all if there should be a modern warfare zombie mode for mw2 or mw3 if they make mw3 the weapons would be really exciting to use since when we all first played MW2…… so i have made some idea’s for infinity ward…. ok here it goes… in the new add on zombies mode ( if there is one) add a modern looking monkey bomb, wunder waffle or a new insane powerfull modern weapon… next create perk mechines such as maybe scavenger for an extra ammo boost and add how somtimes when a zombie dies they drop max ammo or a atomic bomb, well add on care package and it will give you random kill streak awards such as preditor missles, tatical nuke (dosnt mean you will win just distroys zomies on map) and sentry gun or the one where u control the plane and watch the zombies running all over the map and just soot’em from the sky!!! that would be sick lol
also they can add another perk mechine like marathon, commando and stuff like tht…. p.s: dont forget the ray gun make it more modern looking and dont for get to add a mechine lik pack a punch lol it would be insane !!!! also for scavenger when u kill zombies they would have left over wasted ammo in there pockets or somthing so it should increase the amount of ammo u have by 2% since theres alot of zombies at a point…. infinity ward i hope this gives you guys a message for modernwarfare 3 or somthing cause we all love your call of duty series in its modern form so guest on this site as well… plz reply thanks!!!!!
