@YOUDONTGETITDOYOU, Not even a full “new” map pack but only 3 new maps and then 2 ports. And since they are pretty much using the same engine I dont think it could have cost that much to port them over.
They are charging this much because they know they can not because it is “worth” it.

3 bucks a map sounds good to me. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. I’ll be enjoying the 5 new maps for MW2. Whether or not I’ve played Crash and Overgrown in CoD4 doesn’t even matter to me. They’re still new to MW2.

If its not worth it, Dont buy it and DONT BE A HYPOCRITE! Stand strong with all the other cheap people. Activision would only be ripping you off if they MADE you buy it. You are just showing them the price is good if your willing to buy it.

I’ve been saving 800 pts since the COD4 Variety mappack for this EXACT occasion. 800pts saved for MONTHS. I WANT to give them money and then they charge an EXTRA 400! Screw that you greed mongering w***es. Two words: bite me!

Really, i believe this is some sort of reaction towards Bad Company 2. Infinaty ward had stuff on the CD that hasnt actually been released, including at least 1 of these maps. The DL will just ‘unlock’ it. To me, 800 pts is a map pack, and thats for 3+maps. 3 maps and 2 ports is not worth 1200 points. It has everything to do with IW/activision trying to make a quick dollar cause they know they can get away with it. Lost my business.

they should just charge us 800 points because infinaty ward has all ready has had so many probluems as it is. they didnt test the game with a beta and they released it just so they could get more money. they rushed this game and they shouldnt have done that
