Modern Warfare 2 Controller!
Earlier this evening a special edition Modern Warfare 2 controller was confirmed to be in design stages. It looks like this wont just have some MW2 graphics on it either, if they are going over details like a concave or convex grip then its likely that it will be a totally custom job. Robert Bowling put the latest question to the Infinity Ward twitter followers …
fourzerotwo - In a design meeting for a Modern Warfare 2 controller. Need your advice – Concave or Convex grips for the Analog sticks? Whats your preference and why?
When contacted by Joystiq, Bowling wouldn’t elaborate much, only noting that the controller “isn’t being manufactured by Infinity Ward or Activision.” So, that means it is being manufactured though, right?
So far we have MW2 Night Vision Goggles, MW2 Controller, my guess is well see a MW2 Lunchbox next!
Have you got a suggestion for the official Modern Warfare 2 controller? Head to Infinity Wards Twitter page to put it to em’.
Just dont suggest anything like this: [BEFORE YOU ALL GO CRAZY] No its not the new MW2 controller and has nothing to do with IW or MW2, it is just a joke/mock up that was posted on Joystiq!

yea throwing grenades would be odd with an M4 controller. ooh if they had like a noob tube attachment controller how sick would that be. Of course that would be unrealistic lol

Holy s**t i would totally love if they made an m4 controller. If only Wii had more advanced graphics and a normal library of games… Then you could aim it and all of that!

That M4 controller would be the worst controller in gaming history. Look at where theb tuttoms are. You’d have to be perfect every time you took your hand off the trigger just to jump or crouch/prone. And it would be even harder to control how to move. People with normal controllers would destroy the idiots using the M4 controller.

Adding such a controller to the prestige edition instead of night vision goggles would be more preferable, in my opinion.

@Sanjay – Yes it would be very hard to use. I couldnt see anybody actually trying to use something like that, and if they did they wouldnt do very well i suspect. lol
Remember the M4 controller has nothing to do with Activision/IW or MW2, its just a pic that i saw on joystiq.

This would be a nice luxury, but you’d probably end up breaking it due to the fact it’ll be hard to cope with. If this controller actually comes out, this will pose as a problem because little kids will BEG their parents to buy this controller and because this game will most likely be rated M, kids will misuse the controller and cause mischief. Who ever is in charge of the production of this controller, take in to account that there are a lot of people in this world that have no self-control that will actually go out, and threaten people with a fake M4 rifle(correct me if i’m wrong about the gun) and either get themselves into trouble or worse.
And that’s my Two Cent.

Like it says very clearly just above the picture and ive said many times in this comment section already…… it IS NOT the new MW2 controller. It is mearly a joke/mock-up and nothing to do with IW/Activision.
Like it also says in the post the MW2 controller is in DESIGN STAGES, there ARE NO PICTURES OF IT.
Once again……. The M4 controller IS NOT the new MW2 controller!

i think they shud take the buttons off of it and make kinda like a wii remote type thing like u aim it at ur tv and squeeze the trigger to shoot and have reload buttons and stuff…..yeah
