Modern Warfare 2 Resurgence Pack
When Activision announced just a few days ago that the second Modern Warfare 2 map pack would be arriving sometime in the second half of 2010 who would have thought they meant next month!
Earlier today Activision outed a press release that confirms some exciting news about the next instalment of DLC for the record breaking shooter. The five-map Modern Warfare 2 Resurgence Pack will hit Xbox 360 on June 3rd 2010. Like the Stimulus Package before it, the Resurgence Pack will be exclusive to the Xbox for at least 30 days.
Activision didn’t mention pricing, but it’s likely the company will continue with the $15 model it established with the Stimulus Package, which launched on March 30 for the Xbox 360. The publisher did say, however, the launch of the Resurgence Pack will be accompanied by two Double XP weekends. The first kicks off on Friday, May 28 in anticipation of the DLC’s release. The second will begin the day after its launch on Friday, June 4.
We’ll post more details on the Resurgence Pack when it is available. 20 days and counting!

Greedy assholes. They could have put both of the packs at one time, for $15 but no, they want it separated for more profit.
Compare this to Left 4 Dead 2′s “The Passing” DLC for $7 and it had more crap than the MW2 DLC had to offer.

@Kyle Redefer, i honestly dont think there bein greedy. its probly due to activision recently firing the iw presidents and infinity ward falling apart. so activision is shoving them to get it done now before iw does fall apart

definately not getting this one if it’s going to be 1200 microsoft points again. The last one sucked big time I ended up always playing stupid capture the flag on stupid overgrown, maybe if you could pick flags or objectives like WAW I would get it. Then again I’m not paying another dime for this broke F*ckin game it’s getting traded in for my pre-order of BLACK OPS… GO TREYARCH your the s**t!!!!!

I’m not buying it because of how much it costs, It’s because the game blows big D*ck. I don’t even put the game in my xbox anymore plus all they are doing is making it COD 4 again with the maps. At least WAW gave you all new maps and a better search preference with flags or objectives. I’ve played the new maps maybe 20 times since it came out and 18 was capture the flag on overgrown it’s gay as hell, and the people who defend this sh*tty game are the ones that can hack into it and screw the whole experience for everyone. oh yeah TREYARCH rules!!!!

It’s stupid as hell you pay that much for the map pack and all that is different in the playlist is 1 option for stimulus it’s gay as hell and another reason this game is a FAIL! They don’t care about the gamer they care about the benjamins, SAD. JD is already taking community suggestions for Black Ops stuff. The old maps are Vacant and Strike, while the new maps are called Trailer Park (a tight, constrained map), Carnival (a big fairground) and Fuel (a sniper’s paradise).

@People are dumb, so why are ALL other map packs/add ons never 1200 points. Once again it’s not about the money for me it’s the fact that they want sooo much when all they do is add 3 new maps and rename 2 other ones. they are lazy they don’t care about the community it’s f*ckin sad. putting more maps on this broke game is like polishing a big turd. Ok first things first microsoft and infinity ward are alike how? Because the only thing they care about is profit they could care less with how much fun the gamers were having. The only reason they use those old maps in new DLCs is because yes they ran out of creativity and they know you’ll buy them because of the three new maps in it. So they could bump the price from 8-10$ to 15! And the only reason they are agreeing to microsofts “a month before ps3 crap” is to maximize profits. How? People buy them on the fagbox(xbox) then the friends they have with ps3s who dont have them yet play them and love em and cant wait for them. so that ps3 gamer will tell other ps3 owners about this and get them wanting it even more. But im not going to say anymore because this is just a comment…
