MW2 Sniper, Akimbo and Riot Shield Gameplay
We have seen and learnt a lot about Modern Warfare 2′s multiplayer over the last 3 days but there is still a few things we haven’t seen yet.
Out of the many minutes of new footage there has been no sniper, akimbo (dual wield) or riot shield gameplay. In these 2 videos we get to see all 3.

Looks like the duel handguns are fired separately between the two triggers. (Left trigger: left gun, Right trigger: right gun) Personally I think dual is vary dumb, too much like Gaylo 3.

I have to agree this is way too much like Halo. I like Halo, but it doesn’t fit modern warfare. Dual wielding PP200′s is a bit unfair and highly unrealistic. I know there will be restrictions and stuff when using the weapons, but it doesn’t fit the game. I think they need to get rid of dual wielding and if nothing else, dual wielding machine pistols.

402 said the hip fire on the dues is pulled down and you can’t even look down the sites, so its going to be in the game but no one will be using it because it sucks so much. : )

@Zachthemoo2(gamertag), I made this comment before the game came out. That game sux anyway, its got less skill then Halo 3. CoD 2 and 4 are the only good ones.

I’m glad to see the sniper footage ( video 1) but it was painfull to watch cuz he couldn’t decide weather he wanted to make a PB&J shoot someone but still I’m stooked for the silencers

Love all the gameplay footage, but wanna play it even more every time I see it. And the Akimbo looks stupid indeed. I’m really afraid IW screwed up the balance, but I think we all just must have confidence and see it 10th of November
@Bob: I guess he swapped to Tactical Insertion (saw he had that in his layout) at 2:55 – but seems he doesn’t throw it down.

Yeah, IW knows what they are doing so I am not stressing too much, I think dual wielding ruins the style of the game in some ways.

Why does it seam like Slight of Hand is on by default.. Anyone else get that feeling?.. Like it looks like he reloads quite quikly. i thought it was quite quik in the first game but hey lol… Anyone know if you can destroy an enamy Tacticle Insertion?
