It is essential to optimize your custom classes if you want to be effective in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2′s multiplayer. Not only will you need to choose the correct weapons for your play-style, game type or map, you will also need to consider the best combination of perks for each class. Here are the perks you have to choose from.
To earn the pro version of a perk you must complete challenges related to the standard version.

@BiggySsmalls, No they can’t for this game, they’ll be sued, for a few big games stores are forced to sign contracts in order to get the game. MW2 is one of those games, and they know who sold it cause each disc has a barcode and they track which barcode goes to which store.

Looks like I’m gonna have to get used not using stopping power. The new perk for me will be cold-bloded, I’m ….king tired of being at the one with the highest kills having to watch my back for horny choppers.
I have lost count of the times the choppers have shot me throUgh walls and tiny cracks.
My main classes will probably be something like :
Core: Sleight of hand/Bling (depending on ironsights)
Cold bloded/ Stopping power
Ninja

I dont undestand the One Man Army perk pro. I get the switch in between (regular OMA), but does the pro just mean that you dont have to wait the five seconds to switch your class? Seems pretty useless to me.
Also, the first tier perks are DEFINITELY the best IMO. Sleight of Hand, Scavenger, Bling. They all sound the best.

I dont understand why someone would want to use this perk over the other perks in tier one that I mentioned (Bling, Scavenger and Sleight of Hand) as those, to me, seem like much more useful perks. Lol, got ya. Yea I should test that out, but I think that the Pro automatically gives you extra magazines at the start since its regular version already tops you off once you run over dead bodies.
In any case, use one man army then switch to another class, then switch back to your sniper class and then you should have full ammo again.

So with One Man Army on HCS+D you could put down 2 claymores, change class put 2 more down etc etc until there’s s**t loads of claymores covering both A and B? I doubt it. I think One Man Army will let you change class once per life. I also doubt that Lightweight Pro is faster knifing, but if it is, that is by far the lamest pro perk in the game.

Great site! I have a couple of questions. Hopefully you can answer.
1. Is there anything that feels unbalanced or overpowered? I heard a rumor that the Famas was a bit to good.
2. Have you found any unusual combos with the perks that work surprisingly well?
3. The Sleight of Hand Pro perk looks awesome! Is it that good? I’m thinking that it might eliminate the need for hip-fire.
4.The Tactical Insertion looks worrying, especially since I’ve seen a lot of glitches and elevators on the leaked footage online. Have you discovered anything yet? Silent Sniper with Tactical Insertion, Jammer and good glitch skills seems unbeatable! Yes? No?

The tactical insertion is about the size of a quarter of the players body. It’s not like its microscopic and you can only place it right where you are standing; you can’t throw it. Also its a constantly glowing flare so its pretty obvious where it’s at.

@BiggsSmalls, That’s good to know! Size (as always, haha) does matter. But my concern isn’t the normal use of this thing. It’s more based on the placed that you can’t reach if you don’t glitch, or jump on to that from this after you have bounced off from that. See the point? Take COD4 as an example. On the map Showdown it’s possible to reach the roof of the entire building by taking an elevator (a glitch) to the top. Once there the player puts down his Tactical Insertion (he walks on the roof, so it doesn’t fall down through the building). The only way to take out that TI is to glitch yourself (or by Heli etc.).
I guess my question then is: have you seen anyone use TI like that? If not, what are your thoughts about it? Could IW make sure that TI only works on the intended parts of the map?

To admin, you should probably say that the “One Man Army” perk replaces the tier 2 as well as with tier one. The video, located at the link below, shows that when “One Man Army” is selected, on the description after it says when it’s unlocked, it stats the phrase “replaces secondary”. One Man Army probably is a awesome perk then, eh?

@The Man, one man army is tha bomb! you have a 3 second wait for pro, but having unlimited ammo and a choice to swap guns/perks at any time really makes it worth it… especially if you have the class you change into a one man army class as well, just switching between stealth and hardline or assault and sniper.

One man army lets you switch infite times in any of your lifes, trust me I got it
And i used it to get the one where you need to kill enemies with explosives whilst having the explosive perk on 
i just set a semtex on my equipment threw it got a kill and then i pressed ‘Y’ because that goes onto your big cask thing and then you chose which class, if you chose a class without one man army though, you wont be able to change your class again. hope this helped

In a sense, One Man Army perk replaces “Overkill”. Think about it. With Overkill you had 2 primary weapons, no? So people would be using like an M4 and then a sniper.
One Man Army replaces your “secondary” weapon, with another class to switch from. That’s like having another “primary” weapon (just like Overkill), BUT with the added bonus of specifying different perks for your 2nd class.
I haven’t unlocked it yet, but I think it will be interesting, and I certainly hope it doesn’t freaking allow you to replenish your ammo infinite if you switch your class and then switch back, because that’s not balanced at all.

what’s totally the best for perks is:
Bling Pro
Cold Blooded Pro
Ninja Pro
Dragunov SVD| ACOG Sight/Silencer
M93 Raffica| Holographic Sight/Silencer
you’re invisible and it takes 1-2 shots depending on the gameplay mode to kill with either gun. The pistol is about the same range as an Assault Rifle and the sniper owns!
Then you have 3 more with
One Man Army Pro (ammo resupplied after changing into the same class)
choice of Hardline Pro, Stopping Power Pro, and Cold Blooded Pro
and Ninja Pro
Choice of Gun/Secondary
Then one with
Marathon Pro
Lightweight Pro
and Ninja Pro
Choice of Gun or Riot Shield
As for Kill Streaks, Emergency Airdrop should always be one of them as should EMP and Nuke. If you get one of those really good days, best be prepared.
of course, this is all opinionated based on a stealth playing style aiming for minimal deaths and getting behind enemy lines.

just take the time to unlock the tar silencer and red dot, not holo sight, and the fully auto pistol second one in the list silencer and red dot. Then do all your moving with the pistol, you’ll haul ass with the red dot sight engaged and switch to the tar when needed. Then for perks go bling 2 stopping power and commando 2. Boom your a killing machine. Number one rule be and if your thinking about using your knife on someone switch to the pistol and charge. You move faster with it.
Originally the fully auto pistol isn’t very good but once you spend the time to get the red dot and silencer its sweet. The silencer is really what does it because it makes it easier for you to time your shots.
