It is essential to optimize your custom classes if you want to be effective in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2′s multiplayer. Not only will you need to choose the correct weapons for your play-style, game type or map, you will also need to consider the best combination of perks for each class. Here are the perks you have to choose from.
To earn the pro version of a perk you must complete challenges related to the standard version.

@Drew, Yeah the change is fairly cool. Best used if you have a preferance with one wep and tend to run out of ammo or need more ammo at any point. When used it refils all grenades/launchers/RPGs and ammo which is really good if your going for longer life spans.

@Matthew, when you change your weapon you can choose which class to change to. If you have another class with One Man Army you can switch back and forth to have unlimited ammo.

@Matthew, The “One Man Army” perk dose change your class but it dose take a little bit to get set up. I would go prone and use it if you want to change classes. Once you are done you choose your class you want, it’s simple.

Why the f**k does it force you to lose a standard perk’s benefit when “up”grading to “pro?” For instance, look at Stopping Power. Increased bullet damage is AWESOME, right? Well, not when you “up”grade it — that’s right, you now get to do more damage when shooting at HELICOPTERS! (Although you’re shooting against enemy players 99.9% of the time!) And how ’bout that Commando “pro?” Increased melee distance is cool, right? Well, not after you “up”grade it! Instead of being able to knife someone from five feet away, which saves your life half the time, you now get NO FALL DAMAGE! (Although you NEVER die from falling!) Honestly! :/ On the other hand, perk upgrades like Sleight of Hand rule.

@Justin, When you upgrade a perk the standard ability remains and you get the benefit of the added extra pro ability. So if you have commando pro you can still knife that far and you won’t take any damage from falling.

Put on marathon pro, lightweight pro, commando pro
and get yourself a tactical knife on your handgun seccond weapon to stab twice as fast as people normally do. Magnum is a good handgun for stabbing since it has quite a lot of dmg if your unable to stab someone from a long distance…
Beleave me you’ll be runnin like **** through the game stabbing everyone coming in your way. Easyest way to make kills for me
And also verry fun to play… Especially when you jump from the top of a building on top of someone and stab him and then he is like: wut just hit me lulz 0.o!

@KtootY, Don’t feel bad, it took me at least a week of hardcore playing to discover this for myself.
The UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) appears as a small silent plane in the sky, and depending on the map it will be fairly easy to spot, i.e. on maps with open clear skies like wasteland, so keep your eyes open, but don’t get distracted and get your throat slit as someone happens to spot you looking up.
The best weapon I’ve found to use against UAV’s is the stinger as it comes with two missiles, and I like have one on back-up in case a harrier or chopper shows up shortly after.
Also as soon as you here the voice over the com say ” UAV SPOTTED!” or ” Enemy is jamming our radar!” You have about 30 seconds before the UAV will accelerate and fly off, at this point don’t waste ammo, because even if you lock on it won’t catch it.

@tank116, I would suggest for you is to use the Scar, this may be useful if your a beginner. If you are around level 40 or 50 I would suggest using the M16. I got 1000+ kills with this gun within 3 to 4 hours and trust me I’m not a try hard.

UAV provides spyplane reconnasiance for you. (see enemies on radar-excludes coldblooded people.)
Care package gives you a red gas canister which acts as a dropzone for your package.

you have to go into prestige mode, first go to your barracks from the multiplayer main menu, down at the bottom of the list, select it it will ask you if youre sure, tell you that it starts your weapons and perks over and all that, select yes, you will have to unlock everything again from level 1, but you get new challenges, new titles and other things like that, prestiging gets easier as you go along, because you get closer to completing the bigger challenges, which all rake in major points.

a good way to get penetration kills with assualt rifle is bling heartbeat sensor with FMJ. line up red dot in centre and spray. worked for me

Perks, one of the most important thing in multiplayer. My perks for my assault rifle class are “Slight of Hand (pro)”, ” Stopping Power (pro)”, “Ninja (pro)”. I use “Slight of Hand (pro)” because without this perk you will not be able to reload fast enough to kill your next target. We all know most of us reload right after killing someone, so shouldn’t we do this faster? I once used “Marathon (pro)”, (which is not a bad perk if your more of a run and gun kind of person), which made me have unlimited sprint and Able to climb obstacles faster. This was nice but reloading was a drag. With “Slight of Hand (pro)” you can also aim down sight much faster, which is extremely useful for anyone. I use ” Stopping Power (pro)” because with anyone gun, you can be much stronger and kill someone faster. I use “Ninja (pro)” because many people have heartbeat sensors to find you, but with this you cannot be detected. With “Ninja (pro)” you can also have your footsteps silent, which is extremely useful for anyone.
