Description) This map is set in a burned-out desert town at dusk, with clear conditions and decent visibility. Ground zero dots the center of this map, so watch your step, as claymores can lurk in this rubble. This map’s southern sections has an outdoor market with a couple of multi-storey buildings. The northern section features a good size hotel, bus station and cafe. With a large parking lot to the east and a warehouse and waterfront to the west, there are plenty of places to get into trouble. There aren’t many lines of fire for sniping, but you may have to make a long shot or two.
Tips) There are many ways to move around this map without being noticed. To get from East to West, try going through the parking lot to the store room, and move upstairs. Up there, you can move to the apartments and easily get to the waterfront. Use this maps upper levels to circumvent enemies and appear where they least expect you. The shacks are a great place to spring an ambush. Set up in the shacks northeast corner to reduce nearby choke points to two. The hotel’s second level and the apartments are also defensible areas, as they have limited choke points.
the term fanboys? c’mon. of course someone prefers something over another thing. and for the online service, 360 has the red rings of death, ps3 has crazy unknown online service not working. each system has its downsides. stop pestering each other over such little things. just be happy that sooner or later we all are getting new maps. geez……who thought video games would cause so much division hahaha
I say they should get rid of the F****** noob tubes those grenade launchers with dangerous close or even by them self are so cheap (thumper doesnt count seeing how they take up a whole weapon slot but they are still cheap)

@comer93, Seriously doubt this my friend. Microsoft shelled out for this, and Sony didn’t – simple as. But hey we pay for Xbox Live and PSN is free, so swings and roundabouts.
Activision and/OR Infinity Ward are just following the cash before this franchise dies me thinks. Especially after their *ahem* recent troubles. So expect to get gouged by the DLC and with little support on anything else!

@comer93, cymr0 is right, Microsoft paid for the 30 days… so we just get it later. However as a PC gamer this is always how it has been so this really isnt a big deal to me. All three World at War packs came out 4 to 5 weeks after the console packs.

Switched over to BFBC2 last week when I just couldn’t take any more glitching, boosting and just sloppy matchmaking. That in itself has been problematic with the recent BFBC2 server issues, but I hope these are merely teething problems.
The DLC title does pique a bit of interest. But alas, I fear it may only be some new maps and nothing more exciting. Some US based maps with some interesting special ops missions would get me interested again – but only if they also solve the core problems I mentioned.
Releasing new maps would just be like putting lipstick on a pig.
Is this gonna be the DLC we can get with our awesome Monster Energy Drink Codes?

I have a PS3 and Xbox i think xbox is better you, don’t get to have parties with people on PS3.
So you have to talk in game chat which sucks especially if there are annoying ass 8 year old’s playing, but i like both systems and Xbox live wasn’t out for a whole week i would have remembered that it was only out for about 12 hours when they brought the new update up. (facebook, Twitter and, Last.fm)
I like both consoles i just prefer playing on Xbox Ive had mine for 2 years and no RROD and yes PS3 has more power in handling games.
Ouch! BFBC2 has announced they’ll be releasing their map pack on the same day, and for free to users with a VIP code. Most users got one free with the game.

These vids are pretty good. I hate it when some sellfish idiot spoils a game by boosting. Theres no skill in it at all. it actually inspired me to set up a facebook group called ‘The Booster Hunters’ with tips on common boosting areas and other Booster Hunting related stuff.

Look I don’t want to knock BC2, but their blog is kinda nonsense. Sure they have offered these free, but you know what that brings their map total up to? 12 after two “free” map packs. In comparison MW2 shipped with 16 and is now adding 5 more. Plus they mention that DLC will be at a price in the future.

So, XBOX live user’s have to pay for this cause MS “shelled out the dough”? It’s a baiting tactic, for 30 Days, MS will be able to make people PAY for the DLC, they will EASILY get there money back that they paid for exclusivity.
While users with PS3’s and PC versions will NOT have to pay after the 30 days is up!
XBOX gamers are really the ones actually getting shafted here, with Activision\Infinity ward taking the risk of upsetting there PS3 and PC follower’s and Microsoft taking a risk on getting back the money they paid to have exclusive rights.
It’s a game, but it’s a business too!
