MW2 Flag Runner Multiplayer Video
Infinity Ward have just released the second Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer video. It’s called ‘Modern Warfare 2: Flag Runner’ and is unedited footage of a Capture The Flag match.
A lot of new info can be learnt from the video but I’ll run you through the main points. In-game host migration is something i personally wanted for Modern Warfare 2, CONFIRMED! You can now choose to replace your primary grenade with a throwable knife, surprising? CONFIRMED! We also learn that Call-signs are included in a Call of Duty game for the first time. I’m sure we will learn more about that in the near future.
We also see a couple of the new killstreak rewards, after 4 kills you will be rewarded with a “Air Drop”!. You can also earn a “Predator Missile” reward after 5 unanswered kills.
Probably the most important new feature is Dual Attachment’s. If you look closely you will notice that the Kriss Super-V has both red dot sight and a silencer.

the in-game host migration is quite possibly the best part of that vid. I’m absolutely stoked about this game!

Woah, realism out the window there, but looks like fun fun, at least until MW3 *wink*. I’m excited about the SCAR, Tavor, MP5K and the multi-attachments. Hopefully not too many knives now, or else it’ll be cheaper than shotties in short range.

Wow, that was pretty amazing, oh btw I think the knife only kills by headshot. That would make it not cheap but highly useful for a follow-up shot. The knife was carefully aimed for the head for good reason, or the guy wanted to give the other guy a funny kill cam. Dual attach=awesome and host migration IS my favorite part surprisingly, good job IW for awesome programming. I recommended the supply drop to IW a few months ago. I like the addition of the Predator, nice choice. The Barrett is back, which is always fun. I think the Bling is like Army of Two’s Pimped guns, fourzerotwo’s Barrett (or variation) looked really REALLY shiny. I hope infinity Ward does not overpower the KRISS, because it has better accuracy and power (and still a great ROF) than almost any gun. MP5k was a good move towards modern from the MP5. Something tells me frags are going to be whisked off the battlefield from semtex and throwing knives (those are going to be primary “grenade” types I think, not perks or else he would have two.

this doesn’t have anything to do with the video, but how many of you agree that a new thing they should do in MW2 is have map packs (expansion packs for microsoft points) with not just maps, but new spec ops missions and a new weapon)
