Modern Warfare 2 Hits 2.2 Million Pre-Orders
We can also report that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been pre-ordered by 2.2 million people in the US alone. It sits at the top of the US pre-order charts with the nearest game (Uncharted 2: Amoung Thieves) selling just 300 thousand. That’s a big gap and one that points to the fact that MW2 is off to a great start in becoming the biggest selling video game of all time.

I have no idea why Uncharted 2 has any popularity. All of a sudden a ton of people like that type of game? were did that come from? Anyways, MW2 will be game of the century, the only game it has to surpass is CoD 4.

hmm i dunno what to do, buy mw2 on ps3 or on pc…its a really difficult decision for me..i mean i played cod4 on pc, but havin mw2 on ps3 would be nice but im probably very very noob on the ps3. The worst thing is there isnt even a cod game on the ps3 store as a demo to try it out (im not meanin mw2 but cod5 is taken down in aust)…
my main gripe with having it on pc is punkbuster…far out most annoyin program ever, the amount of times i was kicked due to a punkbuster error was soo annoying…
anyways what do you guys think, and do u think they will have a ps3 demo before release?? thanks! oh and @K1 i dont see what you are on about, uncharted 2 looks to be a bloody awesome game and people always lykd that typ of game, its just that tht and mw2 are 2 dif styles and shudnt be compared, and any comparing that is made always comes out to sound fanboyish anyways…

Yo photo man MW2 was postponed 2 weeks on PC, get it for the PS3 even though you should have an xbox360. Oh and also for all of you queers who like other games, just wait 28 more days for MW2 and you’ll have diareah in your pants every time you pop it in.

To me Uncharted 2 looks exactly the same as those dumb Lara Croft Tomb Raider games. Just climbing around walls and solving dumb puzzles. Everyone knows that the multilayer is were its at. I can’t even imagine that game even having a MP. When I saw that game at E3, I thought wow they’re going to be sad that no one likes their game. Yet somehow people found a way to actually like that type of genre all of a sudden. Its a mystery.

@K1 just cause you dont like that genre doesnt mean other people do. for your info many many people like that genre and it didnt just “mysteriously” pop out of nowhere…i mean sure mod warfare 2 will be awesome, but uncharted 2 seems awesome in its own right, for being a completly different genre.
