Modern Warfare 2 Delayed On PC
PC MW2 Delayed In Europe
The gaming world (and most of the real-world) knows all too well that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will release worldwide on November 10 2009. Well that’s not the case any more for PC gamers in Europe.
As if not getting access to the Night Vision Goggle ladened Prestige Edition wasn’t enough, European PC gamers will now have to wait two weeks longer than Console gamers for the hotly tipped Game of the Year. According to Activisions Spring/Winter release schedule the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 will now hit European shelves on November 24 2009.
The delay has NOT been confirmed for the US as of yet and Activision have given no reason for the delay but we will keep you updated on any developments.

The gits, for crying out loud! I thought we only got this shabby treatment from Treyarch but now Infinity Ward and Activision are doing it as well! They don’t seem to appreciate the PC community, this is going to make a lot of people unhappy.

its only really annoying the fact that its only europe (well, not only…because of not having any special editions as well everywhere)
not getting a console cause it means i would also need a tv, hardly got that much money…and it would also mean i would be terrible at the game which doesnt make it fun for me at all unlike in the pc

The mouse and keyboard are not made for FPS anyways. Who would be dumb enough to even care about a PC version of the game. Thats as bad as buying it for the Wii!

Okay, really? If you have ever played a PC game, you know it is much easier to aim with the mouse than the controller. And we dont get aim-assist, so our shots actually have to be calculated. Most of the original FPS’s came out on a PC. watch your facts, bro.

Get a 360 the best gaming console on the market…And don’t say ps3 is better cuz i own one as well and 360 is better overall. yes the ps3 has more power but where are the games? The only thing i use mine for is a blu ray player and the occasional exclusive titles like uncharted 2 and metal gear, but now even 360 has a mgs game coming out so ps3 is gonna be beat.

Ranger, you made me lol enough to post here. You have to pay for 360 monthly? Rofl, no you don’t, it’s £35 ($50ish) a YEAR. True, the PS3′s is free, but it isn’t anywhere near as expansive or good as XBOX Live. Nothing against PS3 owners, btw.
Anyway, I’m highly considering getting this game for PC so I can get into creating maps. I think I’ll buy WaW first and create Zombie Maps, then wait about a month after release of MW2 for PC and start creating maps on there.

Wow..i can’t believe this news will pissed many people,And turning into plateform battleground betweem PC and Console.
Seriously i’m little pissed about delayed also,But still considering about pirate this games..most of it are PC pirate.
So i guess that is one of the reason they delayed PC release date,And also bug fix or improve some stuff.
Anyway considering original call of duty born from PC,So original fans should get love as well,Atleast i expect they should release DLC with game.
