Mission 12 – Contingency

Sergeant Gary ‘Roach’ Sanderson

This mission takes place concurrently with ‘Of Their Own Accord’ and puts you in the boots of Roach again as you infiltrate the enemy camp alongside Captain Price. Follow Price as he leads you into the woods under the cover of the trees there to avoid the heavy fire that’s coming down all around you.

As you reach the forest sneak your way through killing enemies stealthily with your sniper rifle. There are a number of dog patrols making their their way through the area; take the dogs out first to avoid having the dog give your position away. Continue following the pipeline to reach your next objective.

As you come over the ridge you see a small town below. Head down and start picking off the enemies in the distance with the long-range sniper rifle found nearby. Move around the entire town finding enemies to eliminate.

Keep an eye on the UAV icon on your HUD; once it clears it is ready for use. Switch to the AGM control box and rain missiles down on the enemies approaching your location. The AGM needs to recharge in between uses so pick your targets wisely. Also, make sure not to aim the missiles too close to where you’re standing as the ensuing explosion could end up taking you out along with your enemies.

Continue on to the submarine base and snipe your way through the enemies, throwing in an AGM whenever it’s ready for use. Once Price reaches the submarine you must defend his position. As he launches the nuclear missile into the sky the mission ends.
