Map Packs Important For Modern Warfare 2
In Activision’s quarterly financial call yesterday, President and CEO, Mike Griffith gave investors a look at its upcoming plans for Modern Warfare 2. Along with the line up of titles they will take to Gamescon, the company also talked about plans for downloadable content (DLC) for the next Call of Duty game.
“We plan to launch two separate map packs for this title,” Griffith said. “Map packs help extend the shelf life of the franchise, as evidence by the strong catalog sales and premium pricing that we maintained a year and a half after launch.”
“To date, we’ve had strong success with map packs on this franchise, selling more than 8 million units for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3,”

yeah map packs do help but i would really like to see some offline mutiplayer, that has a setting for add AI computer characters to fight. i hate getting the new maps the not being able to play around with them offline. Kind of like perfect dark zero did. but yeah maps help, kind of sucks that they $10 everytime. Like CoD WAW by treyarch, 3 map packs that $30 dollars extra. ii know that some work goes into these but come on. i know it’s not as good as cod4 why didn’t it have more than 1 map?

Infinity Ward if you See this think me and Many others if possible would love to see if you can add match types as DLC. I really loved World at War and am Upset there is noi team Survival So i would love if that could be included as DLC. i know many others would too. So if you see this please consider this.
