Gadget Show Build Their Own Real World Modern Warfare 2 Level
Gadget Show Build ‘The Pit’ In Real Life
The guys over at the Gadget Show on Five (UK) have gone ahead and built their own real world version of ‘The Pit’ – the training level from Modern Warfare 2. Even better than that, they will be running a “Modern Warfare 2 Challenge” where an SAS soldier will try to beat Jason’s game time on the real world course!
The shows presenter, Jason Bradbury, writes on his blog that the level took a week to build and is to “exact specification”.
In what has to be the ultimate homage to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 – we built ‘The Pit’ level. It took over a week to build, to the level’s exact specifications. Better still, with me on my Xbox 360 version of the game, I challenged an actual Special Forces Soldier to a race from the start of the level to the end, taking down targets (and avoiding civies!) Live bullets and genuine heart stopping action in my most amazing gaming challenge ever!

just a suggestion, i think your next guidle should be on thorwing knife because i dont ever seee anyone use them besides me and vie only seen a like 4 montages i think you need to let me people know that there not hard when you have the tactics

well i have to admit, the graphics are sick. I bet the gameplay isn’t nearly as fun as MW2.

I watch this show every week and I just cannot wait for this challenge. It’ll be interesting to see if they can beat it in under 30 seconds. My best was something like 26 seconds.
I would love to give this a go in real life!

i would think the last “drop down” going into the last pit would be a bit much for real life… prove me wrong, i think this is great
