First Tactical Nuke In Public Match
Tactical Nuke FTW
Tactical Nuke is one of the new (and highest) Killstreak Reward’s in Modern Warfare 2. You can only obtain the Tactical Nuke when you have it selected in your Killstreak Reward list and kill 25 enemies without dying. When you call in the reward the whole map gets obliterated, along with all the players (including yourself) and your team scores a win – but most of all, you look too cool for school!
We have already seen videos of the Tactical Nuke in action but only in private matches. Well, here is footage of the first (captured on video) Tactical Nuke in a public match over Xbox Live.
Is it just me or does the Chopper Gunner look like anybody that gets it is well on their way to a twenty-five streak? It’s made it on to my Killstreak Reward list, that’s for sure.

Personally, I think the nuke will ruin mp matches. I mean, once you get the flybys and choppers it’s too easy to get up to 25 kills. I can see a lot of people getting very annoyed with this killstreak reward very quickly.

@m00, i don’t think its that annoying, I usually get a 7 and 11 killstreak but does that mean I always get the nuke, maybe 2 out of 5, it is hard to stay alive even if you get to the 7th killstreak.

He was a level 62 going up against a bunch of 20s and he owned. I think Ninja will be a good perk to use early in the games release because I think a lot of people will be rolling with the Heartbeat sensor.

@Vgking7, its sooo much better theres a video on youtube of team deathmatch and this dude gets the ac-130 and its only for 20 seconds and he only got 4 kills with it

@bob, Actually, I think that the AC-130 can cause more destruction like the whole team is in one place the AC-130 can take it down, but the problem is it is slow moving in the sky, but with a lot of armor (2-3 shots to take it down). The chopper gunner is a fast moving so it is harder to lock on with it but with less armor (1 shot to destroy it) and it can only kill 1-2 people at a time while the AC-130 is one shot 10 kills.

@Vgking7, true but the ac 130 u have 2 reaload and it takes like 2 seconds and when u shoot the shots take like 2 seconds 2 reach the ground unlike this one but either one kick ass cant wait to play it

Damn. I think part of the reason why the game is being so hyped is because of video “leaks” like these. The “leaked” video has done wonders for the buzz surrounding the game

@mw2noob, It is the same thing as the M16 in MW2, and the FAMAS is better because it shoots much faster and has more damage, but has a normal assault rifle accuracy unlike the M16 which has a sniper rifles accuracy.

Lol at comments at the end of the video, a f….. nuke sure comes as a surprise for people who don’t know it’s in the game.
That being said, I’m really surprised that killstreaks count towards each other. This means you can get 13 kills and let the airstrikes do the rest to get the nuke. It’s way too easy.In a way, I’m not complaning because I’ll be the one taking advantage of this. I still mean it’s a bit cheap. One things for sure, good players will rape a lot more in this game than COD4.
Another thing, it looks like being the gunner on a chopper beats the AC-130, but I’ll have to try them for myself before I can be absolute positive.
To all the noobs out there, forget the secondary shotgun or machine-pistol, you better hold on to your anti-air launcher as if it was your imiginary girlfriend :p

My first thought was ¨bulls**t¨, but when I think about it it’s fair, people who bought the game legit should not be punished because of stupid shops selling the game before the official release date.
Besides, who gives a damn about leadersboards? The people on the top of the leaderboards are either people with no life(60 days played lol) or modders/cheaters.
If theres one thing we know from COD4 is that rank does say anthing about skill.

Did not like the first Bad Company that much, but BC 2 is really starting to look good. From the latest trailers I can see several improvements from the first game.
I’m definitely going to get BC 2, it will be a nice change besides playing MW2.

OK, this sucks. I had heard from numerous sources that a killstreak cant help you get another one ie. you have to get EACH AND EVERY kill on your own, using your guns, knife, grenades etc to get reach your target. I thought that that was a great idea. But this is ridiculous, this game is going to be absolutely dominated by killstreaks. The first person/team to get a killstreak will win. No doubt about it, half of the kills in ANY game type (i guess not in SnD) will be from killstreaks. To me that seems stupid. Just my thoughts… Anyone agree??

@Schnez, Yeah, if someone has like 9, 11, and 11 killstreaks, as soon as they get 9 kills in a row (Not terribly difficult) game over, because you get like what 15 kills from them.

Chopper Gunner and Nuke is without a doubt the best Kill-Streak Combo. Ever. The first can either be a Predator or an Attack Heli.

i use TAR-21 w/grenade launcher, RPG-7 Flashbangsx2 and Semtex with Scavenger Pro, Danger Close Pro, and Steady Aim Pro and i went Harrier, AC-130, Tactical Nuke on Wasteland that was my first ever Nuke then i used the same loadout but used Chopper Gunner instead of AC-130 on Rundown but on both times i only got 4-6 kills using the explosives the rest were TAR-21 Kills and i picked up FAMAS on Rundown but used Mounted Machine Gun on Wasteland
