PC Stimulus Package Discount For Pre-Order
If you’re a PC Modern Warfare 2 gamer you’ve probably been waiting what seems like forever to pwn some noobs on the new Stimulus Map pack, right? Well, if you pre-order the 5 map stimulus package through Steam before the May 4th release date you’ll be entitled to a 10% discount, and discounts are good.
That equates to $13.49 or £10.79 which is not much of a saving but if you was planning on buying the map pack why not save yourself some dough and pre-order.

@comer93, I am not denying that you are getting screwed by no discount, but …
the reason PC is getting the discount is that PC has always in the past (and still in most PC games) got DLC for free. And here they are charging. So they are doing this to actually get PC players to buy it.
Its pretty gay though as with a game like this and the success that they had, and the problems that they got NO ONE should have had to pay for it. The costs of DLC were built into the initial budget and a budget that was met, exceeded then followed by millions racked in by unit sales of the game itself. Why not just give something away for free that you have developed and already paid for, and possibly sell even more copies of the game?
Activision are morons, and I think that MW2 will be the last game I buy from them in a long time. Time to move to EA and Respawn.

I pre-ordered it inmidiatly at STEAM, can’t wait for them to launch! Nice, hope we don’t have the same problems as with the Xbox 360 launch of the stimulus pack.

This is stupid! You pay 60 dollars than another 15 for more maps that is like 75 dollars. Why not just make it 100 and screw people over. I hope that they have a harder time trying to get money for this game. It really upsets me that they would charge people for maps. Maybe if they made a map editor everyone would be happy and it would be mixed up all the time.
